On Saturday, Israeli athletes secured three Olympic medals: two silver and one gold.
Tom Reuveny, 24, won the gold medal in men’s windsurfing at the Paris Olympics, marking Israel’s first gold this season and the country’s fourth-ever gold in Olympic history.
Earlier that day, Sharon Kantor, 21, earned a silver medal in sailing.
Both athletes were originally scheduled to compete on Friday, but their events were delayed due to weather conditions in Paris.
Additionally, Israeli gymnast Artem Dolgopyat won silver in gymnastics with a score of 14.996, narrowly beaten by his Filipino competitor who scored 15.
Dolgopyat had previously won gold in the floor exercise at the August 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
