Peaceful demonstration of opposition to the terror attacks on Israeli civilians

A large number of members of the Israel Sri Lanka Solidarity Movement (ISSOM) gathered in front of the office of the United Nations in Colombo today (October 10, 2023), condemning the terror attacks on unarmed civilians in Israel on October 7, 2023. While peacefully declaring their opposition to the terror attacks, members of the group expressed that they will always stand for the innocent Israeli civilians suffering at the hands of the terrorists. The Maha Sangarathnaya, Clergy of other religions and intellectuals handed over a letter to the to a Representative of the United Nations.
